Hi Bjorn,

I have just checked your account and the stats are horrible. After 14
tournaments we have only had 3 depositors who generated $4 in tourney
fees and NO rake. The Affiliate Director only wants to pay half of
the prize money agreed to for this league because of the terrible
results and move the other half of the prize money to the new league
as prizes. The prize money was on the condition that you would
encourage your members/players to play cash games at RedKings outside
the league and he feels this has not been done.

regards,

George Aristodimou - EGO

Hi Bjorn,

I have talked to the Affiliate Director and convinced him to release
all the prize money for the first league tournament. Therefore, we
will pay out what we initially offered, that is:

$120 (first place),
$75 (second place)
$50 (third place)

After the final league tournament this Saturday you will need to send
me the nick names of the players who placed in the top 3 positions so
that we can deposit the prize money into their player account.

Please try to understand our disappointment: After 14 buy-in
tournaments we received only 3 depositors who have generated No
revenue. This is very frustrating considering these were all buy-in
tournaments that require a deposit to play.

regards,

George Aristodimou - EGO

You run a small forum Fosen, and when you manage to land such a great deal eith Red Kings it is very good work.

I think it is rather cheap of Red Kings to half the prizes, and the second letter indicates that they think so too. Being one of the three I feel that my conscience is good, but it seems like most of the other members around on this site didnt buy the concept. I am struggling with the same thing on my forum so it seems like the market for new signups on new clients are VERY VERY difficult,

I would challenge some of the other members around here to come with replies, the only reason why I am still hanging around here is because Fosen is "a nice guy"

In my opinion the forum is very messy, the activity is too low, not my native language. But I choose to stick around and make a post now and then.

And in my opinion 3 new customers from a small forum like this, that aint so bad is it? Red Kings now own me for life, and if I ever make some dollars on the site I generate a lot more rake for Red Kings than they have paid out on this FosenLeague, and with that in mind they wont be my first choice when I make a deposit on one of the Ongame clients, it is their loss

That is a problem for all (relatively new) fora. You attract new members, as myself a very new member, who have been playing online poker for probably several years, and have already regged at a great many of the older, well-established poker sites, e.g. Redkings. And though I sometimes make a deposit at a new site in order to play an event that I find interesting, I am naturally very cautious about doing so.

I joined this forum because I saw the events at Redkings, and look forward to participating in the next series. But, unfortunately for this forum, I been playing at Redkings for quite some time, and any revenue I may generate at RK, other than the rake for a particular event, will not be credited to Fosen.

Sorry mate
