Question about rebuy tournaments

Is there a higher chance to cash playing three rebuy tournaments without rebuying or purchasing an addon, or playing a single rebuy tournament where you rebuy once and purchase an addon?

You would end up spending the same amount of money, I'm just curious which option is better.
